When I started painting to the song “Dreaming,” I just wanted to express the sense of personal freedom. I soon realized that feeling free can be a struggle and includes a mixture of frustration and anxiety. The interplay of what is and what can be competes as we escape our reality, looking to our dreams in anticipation of a brighter future.
